Civil Rights Pilgrimage: Living Justice September 30 - October 9, 2024
Our nation, community, and churches have experienced generations of racial injustice and inequity. Responses like the Civil Rights Movement, Black Lives Matter, and the backlash to them continue to shape our identity. Walking in the footsteps of the movements for racial justice and the people of courage who have gone before us, we strengthen our own commitment to “strive for justice and peace among all people and to respect the dignity of every human being.” (Baptismal Covenant). More details at https://circlesofcolor.org/crpilgrimage/.

In Memoriam
We are saddened to share the news that four members of our extended Trinity family have recently died: Constance Albrecht (1933–2024), Terry Cochrane (1928–2024), Tom Grayston (1924-2024), Barbara Vann (1943–2024). The funeral service for Terry Cochrane will be at Thomsen Chapel at Saint Mark’s Cathedral on Saturday, April 13 at 10:30am, with a reception to follow in Leffler House. Rest eternal grant to them, O Lord; and let light perpetual shine upon them. May their 14 souls and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Staff Transition:  Sexton Position
After 8 months without a permanent Sexton, we have hired David Lepse to this position.
David may be familiar to you, as he has been Assistant Sexton at Trinity since 2006. As Sexton, David will work closely with Junior Warden Betsy Severtsen to identify special cleaning and maintenance projects in addition to the routine cleaning and hospitality he has been doing. If you notice things that need cleaning or maintenance attention, please fill out a blue form (found on the Big Blue Board in the Parish Hall) and drop it in the envelope marked “Maintenance Requests” (also on the Big Blue Board).
